TEST CENTRES

Testing technologies for real-world impact

DIANA's Test Centre network gives innovators access to a wide range of environments, facilities, and technical expertise across the Alliance. From laboratories and simulation environments to field testing and operational settings, the network supports the development, evaluation, and validation of dual-use technologies designed to address current defence and security challenges. By connecting DIANA innovators with test centres across domains and disciplines, DIANA helps accelerate the transition to rapid adoption.

TEST CENTRES LIST

A NETWORK BUILT FOR DUAL-USE INNOVATION

The network brings together government, industry, academic and commercial facilities and expertise to help innovators evaluate performance, improve readiness, and better understand how technologies will operate in practical and operational situations.

DIANA test centres are spread across NATO member countries, and are committed to the Alliance's values of diversity, openness and sustainability.

FROM TESTING TO ADOPTION

In addition to core funding, DIANA innovators can apply for additional TEVV (Testing, Evaluation, Verification and Validation) funding to cover test centre fees to complete activities needed to perfect their technologies and move them toward adoption.

Access to varied facilities and expertise allows innovators to:

Validate technologies under different conditions

Gather technical and operational feedback

Improve interoperability and readiness

Demonstrate potential dual-use applications

Accelerate development through practical and field tests

JOINING THE DIANA NETWORK

Test centres in the DIANA network become part of a collaborative innovation ecosystem spanning the Alliance.

Participation offers opportunities to:

Engage with emerging dual-use technologies

Collaborate with innovators, researchers and end-users

Contribute to emerging technology development

Strengthen connections across NATO's innovation community

Support solutions addressing shared security and resilience challenges
