To sharpen NATO’s technological edge and provide decisive defence and security effects, DIANA works innovators, end users and Allied nations to find, accelerate and promote the adoption of emerging and disruptive technologies.

NATO DIANA is a key pillar in NATO’s innovation and technology strategic approach, bringing together the latest technology and talent. 

DIANA was established by NATO in 2023 as the Alliance’s innovation engine. DIANA works with NATO organisations and Allied nations to identify the most important and urgent technology needs, and uses challenges to find innovative technology companies with the most promising solutions.

THE NATO DIANA TEAM

DIANA’s team comprises military and civilian experts from across the Alliance. DIANA's team runs challenges, leads accelerator programming, provides commercial advice, promotes adoption efforts, and operates corporate functions to keep DIANA running smoothly.
